What is "The KindnessKits Foundation"? What is a  "KindnessKit"?

We are a non-profit foundation that allows anyone to get involved in helping the unhoused population, by creating and distributing KindnessKits. Growing up, I have always found the concept of helping those less fortunate to be a significant value of mine, whether it be a result of my religion, Islam, or familial and moral values. As I have grown, my feelings towards this cause have only strengthened. An effective habit I have developed is carrying bags full of supplies ranging from socks to granola bars to be handed out to anyone in need, whether on a quick drive to school or a lengthy road trip. As the tradition progressed, the idea sparked me to expand this concept, enhancing its impact, as the more people involved, the more effective it can be. After watching as my uncle had resiliently came back from time locked up, transitioning to working with Team Wellness and making a change in Detroit, I knew it was time for me to get involved. This has led me to where I am today. KindnessKits are the helpful care packages I referred to earlier. They enable individuals to aid people experiencing homelessness with confidence in what their donations are going towards, contrary to cash donations given to the unhoused population. All proceeds gathered from donations, ceramic purchases, and choreography bookings go toward purchasing supplies for  KindnessKits.
